Ariel learned his craft shooting many short films that cover a wide range of themes and styles: from comedy, to sci-fi, to Ukrainian teenage angst. His films have been awarded at festivals around the world, nabbed Vimeo's Short of the Week, been personally picked by Wes Craven for his inaugural award, been nominated for the AACTA Award for best short, and had over 4 million Youtube hits with The iMom. 

On the commercial scene, Ariel's work has been awarded at Cannes Lions, Adfest and Shoot Online's Young Director's Showcase.
